According to the Automotive Distributors and Mobility Association (ODMD), automobile sales rose 9.98 percent to 742,000 687 in the January-September period compared to the same period last year, and light commercial vehicle sales rose 5.92 percent to 184,000 960.
Automobile and light commercial vehicle sales in Türkiye increased by 9.15 percent during the same period, reaching 927,647.
In September, passenger car and light commercial vehicle sales rose 25.71 percent to 110,000 302 compared to the same month last year, and passenger car sales rose 26.77 percent to 88,274 in the same period. The light commercial vehicle market grew by 21.66 percent in September and amounted to 22,000 28 units.

The Renault Clio was the best-selling car in Turkey for nine months
While the first place in the list of best-selling cars on a model basis in Türkiye did not change in the 9 months of the year, fully electric vehicles continued their presence in the top 10 of the list with 2 models.
During the same period, the Renault Clio became the best-selling car in Turkey with 34,151 sales per model. The Tesla Model Y took second place with 27,000 420, while the Renault Megane sedan took third place on the list with 26,000 933.
During this period, the Togg T10X took fourth place in the list of best-selling cars, while in the same period last year it was seventh with 17,000 49 sales. The increase in T10X sales during the said period was calculated at 29.8 percent.
The fifth best-selling car during the said period was BYD Seal U with 19,534 sales, while Fiat Egea was sixth with 18,323 sales and Toyota C-HR was seventh with 17,755 sales.
The T10F made a strong entry into the electric car market
Togg's new model T10F, which went on sale in Turkey on September 15, became the second best-selling electric car in the electric vehicle market last month with 1,194 units sold, while Tesla took first place in electric vehicle sales with 1,664 units in the same period. Togg's first model, T10X, took third place with 1061 units.
