The Minister of Cultural and Tourism, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, shared the numbers that were achieved in cruise tourism during the time in January-August time.
Ersoy pointed out that Torkiye ran for a historical record in cruise tourism and used the following statements:
“We have a historical increase in cruise tourism in the January-August period of 2025. We have organized around 1.5 million passengers in our 18-cruise port. This number was the highest level of the past 12 years. An important development is the increase in the number of expeditions that choose Türkiyy as the main port. This means that foreign visitors in our country stay in our country.”

Ersoy pointed out that cruise tourism not only increases tourism income, but also contributes strongly to the economy and cultural vitality of the port cities.
