Yeka competitions will bring an investment of $ 3.3 billion

According to the information created from the data of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, an essential step is taken in accordance with the aim of reducing the dependence on energy and the use of inland resources at maximum level with wind and solar energy investments in 12 cities.

In November and December, Sivas, Balıkesir, Aydın, Denizli and Kütahya were selected for Yeka power plants based on wind energy of 1150 megawatt. There will be a total of 6 projects between 110 megawatts and 500 megawatts in these cities.

In solar energy, Elazığ, Kahramanmaraş, Erzurum, Bolu, Eskişehir, Mardin and van are held for 9 projects from 40 megawatts to 260 megawatts.

While Türkiye make efforts to ensure the security of supply supply, aims to reduce the dependence of the country on foreign energy.

Yeka wind and solar competitions and floating GES projects are also implemented. In this context, Demirköprü Hepp, which is located in Manisa, is to be assigned 35 megawatts in order to install floating GES in the area of the reservoir.

Reform and infrastructure movement in energy

In Türkiye, the law was realized as a reform in order to simplify the permission and approval processes of the projects and to implement the investments faster in order to achieve the goals of 2035 in Turkey.

In addition to all of these, to strengthen the transmission infrastructure, 14,000 700 kilometers long and 40 gigavat capacity capacity -HVDC line are built. An additional 15,000 kilometers of management are produced for the AC network. Enterconing capacity is increased in exports to 6,000 megawatts and 6 thousand 600 megawatts in imports.

“Yeka competitions will build in the industry”

The chairman of Energy Industrial and Business People Association (EnSI) Alper Kalaycı, Yeka competitions that are to be made after the investments, which are 1150 megawatt wind plants for around $ 2.3 billion, will be solar power plants, he said.

Kalaycı said that the competitions in question will make a significant contribution to Türkiye's wind and solar energy, and said: “Yeka competitions that contain these scaling projects will make a significant contribution to companies that produce domestic parts. In particular, the Renewable Energy Sector.

Investments are made in floating ges

The Secretary General of Sun Energy Industrialist and Industry Association (Gensed), Hakan Erkan, also emphasized that the 35 -megawatt -Floating GES project would attract around 20 million US dollars in the Demirköprü -Reservoir area.

Erkan added that the floating solar systems will save water by reducing evaporation in the lake, thanks to the shading effects of the floating solar systems and that they will make a significant contribution to the annual electricity generation capacity with the hybrid model that has arisen with the integration of hydropower plants.
