The fact that Aselsan is involved in this study with global defense giants such as Airbus Defense and Space GmbH, Lockheed Martin UK, Raytheon and Thales LAS means that Türkiye's technological skills in the air defense area are confirmed internationally.
As part of the agreement, 5 contractors will work in the first stage with concept work (system architecture). In this context, the comprehensive system architecture framework is directed from work on modularity and new technologies in the following phases.
It is planned that the work expenditure will be delivered in mid -September and the most suitable system architecture will be assessed by these deliveries.
The companies involved in the project will contribute to a modular GBAS analysis of independent and innovative perspectives within the competitive structure. The aim is to develop flexible, co -operational and sustainable system infrastructures that correspond to the operating and logistics functions defined by NATO.
This agreement, which was signed with NSPA with 5 different companies, showed that the effective coordination between the countries of the GBAS support and NATO -defense pension structures was successfully operated.

With the barrels produced in Torkiye, short, medium and long reach of the air defense rocket systems show the competence of Aselsan in this area.
Aselsan Hake, which is developed nationally, creates an aerial view that is defined by combining data from different types of sensors.
With its algorithms to evaluate the threat and hunting/weapons allocation, the system enables effective airspace control to the operating level by listing both black defense systems and fighter planes.
The steel dome architecture created by Torkiye with different reach and layers was effective for this critical project within the framework of NATO when choosing Aselsan.
Various systems, common architectural needs
Many NATO member countries use different air defense systems. While the HISAR Air Defense system is used in Türkiye, some countries Patriot and other different solutions prefer.
The creation of a common architectural framework to ensure the cooperation of these systems in the future is of great importance.
Aselsan is one of the 5 companies that contribute directly to this process, but also strengthen the identity of Türkiye, not only the user, but also a system designer and technology developer.
