The Turkish Statistical Institute (Turkstat) announced the data for the construction cost index for March.
Accordingly, the index rose 1.53 percent in March compared to the previous month and 23.23 percent compared to the same month of the previous year.
The monthly material index rose by 1.95 percent and the work index rose by 0.8 percent. The material index increased by 18.8 percent annually and the work index by 31.72 percent.
The construction cost index for construction costs in March compared to the previous month compared to the same month of the previous year rose by 23.6 percent. Compared to the previous month, the material index increased by 2 percent and the work index by 0.54 percent. In addition, the material index increased by 19.68 percent and the work index by 30.77 percent compared to the same month of the previous year.
The construction cost index for expanded buildings rose by 1.79 percent in March compared to the previous month and 22.05 percent compared to the same month of the previous year.
In these structures, the material index increased by 1.82 percent and the work index rose by 1.74 percent compared to the previous month. Compared to the same month of last year, the material index increased by 16.14 percent and the work index by 35.22 percent.
