According to the information created by the “2030 Industry and Technology Strategy” document of the Ministry of Industry and Technology Ministry, artificial intelligence technologies are the basic building block for F&-and Innovation Ecosystem.
It is planned to take steps to strengthen the scientific capacity and support productive models for artificial intelligence, especially to develop the “Turkish language model”. In this area, the “Super Computer Investment Program for Artificial Intelligence” is priority to strengthen data processing and a high successful calculation capacity in Türkiye.
The first of the steps taken in this direction was the Super computer investment program, which was supported to support the rapid development of the ecosystem for artificial intelligence. With more than 80 thousand processor seeds, 312 GPU cards and 14 petabytes with a high frequent memory area, Türkiye's highest capacity super -computer, ARF, was commissioned in Tubitak. ARF Super Computer has created new opportunities in scientific studies, with a capacity near the calculation performance of the high 40,000 laptops.
Now a quantum computer is to be integrated into the ARF super computer. This computer will have an architecture based on superconducting cubit and contains at least 20 physical superconductive cubit.
New guidelines and mechanisms are created to spread the current use of the ARF, which is an important infrastructure to develop universities, public and private sectors and to be adapted. Therefore, Torkiye is expecting a breakthrough in artificial intelligence.
Türkiyes supercomputer
ARF was opened for use in the “Turkish National Science E-Altitude (Truba), which offers a high successful calculation and data storage space in order to strengthen Türkiye's data processing infrastructure.
Truba delivers the high -performance calculation capacity that is needed by the private sector, the public and the universities. The ARF system with direct liquid cooling technology serves academic, public and private researchers in the field of calculated sciences such as climate modeling, biotechnology, basic sciences and medical sciences in Türkiye and enables the development of innovative solutions for the future.
With the Trürkiye set of the Truba Center and the ARF calculation system, the scientific research skills gave a new dimension and increases its competitiveness at a global level.
In addition, Tubitak offers access to the technology and research ecosystem, the Marenostrum5 -Infrastructure, which is set up in Spain, that is a partner in the EUPHPC program.
With the support of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the Marenostrum5 Super Computer, which was founded and operated by the consortium of Turkey, Spain and Portugal, in which Tübwisses Ulakb much took part in partnership, the 35th place in the world ranked in the TOP500 lists, which were announced in November 2024. The second phase of the ARF set, the new ARF ACC system for artificial intelligence, offers a source of calculation for researchers who work with technologies for artificial intelligence.
“Super Computer” does for public and industry
With the support of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the BSC Artificial Intelligence Factory (BSC-AIF), in which Tüboney is partners, was accepted as one of the first 7 factories for artificial intelligence to be supported by the joint initiative of Eurohpc.
The aim is to accelerate the ecosystem of industry and public artificial intelligence by updating the Marenostrum5 system as a supercomputer.
