The Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloglu, 5G, will strengthen the Torkiye digital ecosystem and this system will be a component in the future.
Minister Uraloğlu said that the 5G tender advertisement created by the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK) was published in the official Gazette of August 31, 2025 and that the tender will take place on October 16 in Ankara.
He pointed out that 5G is not only a faster connection, said Uraloğlu, that this technology is also the cornerstone of a more intelligent, more reliable, integrative digital ecosystem and strengthens the country's ecosystem in this area.

The 5G infrastructure in Uraloglu is given priority for the use of domestic products from Türkiye, which states that the domesticity and nationality are increased with this technology.
He pointed out that all institutions and organizations in Türkiye have taken all the necessary steps in the development of domestic 5G technologies, said Uraloğlu:
“We want to produce base stations and core network components within the country with the end of domestic and national 5G project. The domestic product of up to 60 percent will be obliged to use the national communication product up to 30 percent. We will therefore promote domestic production. Transformation.“
