Adana Aviation, Space and Technology Festival (TEKNOFEST) has begun. 790,000 teams and more than 1 million 650,000 participants applied for 50 competitions at the festival, where TRT is the communications stakeholder. One of them is the 1.5 Adana team.
TEKNOFEST Board Chairman Selçuk Bayraktar spoke about their success in his opening speech: “We have another team that chose Adana's famous kebab as their team name. 1.5 Adana. They started as a single team of 11 people for 11 years.” Today they compete in 9 different areas. They have become a huge family, they have evolved, they have made us proud by winning championships all over the world, thank God.
They are in the Champions League tent this year
1.5 Adana Youth Center Hydromobile Team is a team that has now made a name for itself. You have won many awards so far. This year they are exhibiting the vehicles they produce in the Champions League tent at TEKNOFEST Adana.
At the same time, the team takes part in competitions in various industries with unmanned aerial vehicles, unmanned agricultural ground vehicles, unmanned underwater vehicles, hydromobiles, electric vehicles and rockets.
Electric mobile and hydromobile vehicles manufactured with original design and domestic facilities since 2013 have won a total of 15 awards in competitions such as TÜBİTAK, TEKNOFEST and the international Shell Eco-Marathon.
The team has won the rocketry high altitude championship in recent years. The unmanned underwater vehicle they produced won first prize at SAF 2023.
TEKNOFEST lasts until October 6th
During the four-day festival, the TEKNOFEST Champions League, TEKNOFEST Project Exhibition Area, Nuclear Energy Technologies Design Competition, E-Commerce Hackathon, TEKNOFEST Drone Championship, World Drone Cup Competitions and International Invention Fair will be held.
The winners of the teams that received 55 million lira in support for the implementation of their projects will receive their awards worth a total of 31 million lira on the main stage of TEKNOFEST.
